Today I bring you a sought-after recipe....probably for the pumpkin flavor and super-easyness....
perfect.
1 tsp each, nutmeg and cinnamon
1 can pumpkin
1 can evaporated milk
1 box cake mix (spice or carrot)
1 stick butter, melted
pecans, optional
Mix together sugar, spices, pumpkin, and milk. Pour into 9 x 13 pan. Combine cake mix and butter. Sprinkle on top but do NOT mix. Add pecans, if desired.
Bake @ 350 for about 50-60 minutes...until set in the middle.
***make your pumpkin cobbler how you like, but I like to make half pecan and half not. Who can argue with compromise that makes the whole family happy? It creates unity and that's a pretty biblical concept, you know!
enjoy!
Awww, thanks so much for posting this. Looks wonderful and we'll have it for our after-church snack tomorrow night. What a cute family in the sidebar pics! Blessings....~Andrea
