spotlight on lisa (GW !! )

snow day
you know how you feel the need to stock up on essentials
before you get snowed in?
what is it about sending the hubs to the grocery store for a few needed items
and ending up with more than "the list"?!
but I'm not complaining about these fantastic cookies
we ate last night as we cozied in to watch
How To Train A Dragon

Well, today I have a treat for you all...
I'd like you to meet a friend of mine, and if you don't know her already,
her name is Lisa and she is the super fun mom of 2 a-mazing little girls
less than one year apart
(wow, right?!)
Mya and Laynie are 2 and 3 years old--full of energy and super engaging little girls because their mama pours lots and lots into them
Not only does she rock motherhood, but she is uber crafty as well...
She makes these adorable burp cloths and blogs about them here

She also makes a lot of good recipes that are easy on the budget and easy on time.  When I had Charity, she made dinners for her fam and then doubled the recipe for my fam (awww....so thoughtful!)
Check out this one she made for us the night before Charity was born.

And Lisa's blog also has a tutorial for you if your fridge could use a nice little makeover.  You're going to want to check out these magnets that are fun and fun to make.

WELL, if you haven't done a little hopping over to her blog yet, you are definitely going to want to check out her post today
Because her super crafty self has been at it again and this time
she's SHAR-ING.
GIVEAWAY WEDNESDAY, Blogger B's!  Over on Lisa's blog!
So...leave her some comment love and let her know you have checked out her blog for a chance to win her Valentine craft.

How to Train Your Dragon was my personal favorite film of '10. Teensy bit scary for my 2 youngest ones. But they did okay hiding their eyes in my lap-
